Ann Vorwald

Ann is a research microbiologist at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, Iowa. The group Ann works with focuses on diseases of swine caused by viruses. In high school, Ann remembers the constant interaction between her fellow classmates and teachers which reflect their genuine interest and concern for her personal and academic development.
