LUNCH:  CHICKEN NUGGETS, SALAD, TROPICAL FRUIT

 

All Clayton Ridge High School evening activities are cancelled for Friday, January 18th.  Basketball vs. South Winneshiek will be made up as a quad on Saturday, February 2nd beginning at 2:00 PM.  South Winneshiek will only play a half in the JV Girl's game due to low numbers!  The Junior Class Chili Supper scheduled for tonight will be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

We are hopeful to have students attend through the regularly planned 1:55 PM dismissal today.  If, there are changes to this plan, we will notify everyone later this morning.

Wrestling has been moved back for tomorrow morning, Jan 19th.  We will have a leave for midland  @ 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM weigh-in, and 11:00 AM Wrestling.

District Speech at Cascade has been delayed by two hours for Saturday, January 19th.  Start time will be 11:00 AM with a 9:00 AM leave time from the high school.

 

1st through 6th grade basketball camp has been cancelled for Saturday, January 19th.

CRHS Wrestling at Midland has been postponed to 11:00 AM.  Weigh-Ins will be at 9:00 AM with a 7:30 AM leave time from the high school.

A decision will be made early in the morning about travel to wrestling at Midland and District Speech at Cascade.

The Drill Team performances scheduled for this evening have been rescheduled to Saturday, February 2nd.

JH Performance: 3:15 PM at Half Time of the JV Boy's Game

Mom's HS Performance:  6:00 PM @ Half Time of the Varsity Boy's Game

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO MR. PETERSON, EASTON HARBER & SISCO GOMEZ!!!!!!

 

Our large group speech students participated in the UI Conference Contest at West Central in Maynard on Saturday, January 12. Brandon Walker and Nichole Bebber, both juniors, performed an ensemble acting piece from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Noting; they received a Division I. Josef VonHandorf and Eric Craft, both seniors, received a Division I rating in Radio Broadcasting for their broadcast KNFL. TV News, KOMP Live at 5, received a Division II; Kristen Willenborg, Emily Ertl, Abrianna Moore, Haley Kann, and Victoria Breitbach, all seniors, participated in this event. Readers’ Theatre, Channel Changers, received a Division II; Chloe Stroschein, Henry Scherer, Kaitlyn Ramsey, Kirisa Kephart, Nichole Bebber, and Brandon Walker participated in this event. 

 

All of these events will compete in District Large Group Speech at Cascade High School this Saturday, January 19. Students receiving a Division I at District Speech will advance to the State Contest at Waterloo West  on February 2.
